At our interactive music workshops, students can choose to focus on a specific instrument or explore the full range of instruments we have on offer. We teach keyboard, piano, guitar, bass, drums, and music technology.
Our facility features an unrivalled selection of instruments and cutting-edge technology designed to make learning music fun, creative, and inspiring. Students will have opportunities to work on solo performances, band collaborations, and even record their progress in the studio with Brian.
In addition to developing technical skills on their chosen instrument, students gain a solid understanding of the building blocks of music-including reading and writing notation, understanding key signatures, chord progressions, and creating parts for recordings or live band performances.
We also place strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, and confidence-building—skills that go far beyond music.

Led by our fantastic Mini Music Academy tutor, Caroline, and her team, sessions are lively, engaging, and confidence-boosting - helping children grow in both music and social skills.
At the Mini Music Academy, students get hands-on experience with our top-of-the-range instruments and the full BHMA facility. They’ll explore ukuleles, tambourines, keyboards, electronic drum kits, and more, alongside fun music theory games and worksheets designed to make learning exciting and accessible.
Our carefully designed curriculum provides a smooth transition into our Music Workshops (ages 7+), helping every student continue their musical journey with confidence and enthusiasm.

Our one-to-one sessions are designed for adults (beginner or experienced) who want to refine their skills, deepen their musical understanding, and learn in an inspiring professional environment.
Brian teaches piano, keyboards, drums, guitar, bass, and music technology/production, drawing on his years of experience as a performing artist and studio producer / member of legendary Scottish rock band Runrig.
Lessons are held in one of the best-equipped music facilities in the country, providing access to world-class instruments, studio gear, and recording technology.
